I must concur with Juan Valiño , this is the worst bug ever and it should be
fixed, not hide away because some people do not endure it any longer. 

At first, it make my laptop almost unusable, I had to struggle every day at
work and I almost switch to another dekstop environement. 

Now, I haven't been able to trigger it for while , so I'm pretty sure it is
fixed for my configuration (Qt: 4.5.2, KDE: 4.3.1 , on a Fedora 10 - not 11),
but clearly other people are still suffering for it...
