Summary: Desktop Settings crashes when composites enabled
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: FreeBSD Ports
        OS/Version: FreeBSD
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: rhavenn at rhavenn.net

Version: (using KDE 4.1.1)
OS: FreeBSD
Installed from: FreeBSD Ports

OS: FreeBSD 7.1-PRE i386
graphics: AGP based nVidia with binary drivers

When going into "System Settings" -> Desktop and enabling the Desktop Effects X
crashes back to the login screen.

However, Desktop Effects are in fact now enabled and work great. I am unable to
get the system to crash.

Yet, when I go back to edit "System Settings" -> Desktop to view the settings X
crashes again to the login screen. I've been using vi and editing kwinrc to
enable / disable options while logged out.
