Summary: display issues with (some) openGL applications
Product: kde
Version: 3.5
Platform: Unlisted Binaries
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
ReportedBy: zefo at seznam.cz
Version: (using KDE 3.5.10)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Unspecified Linux
i would like to report graphical glitches that occur when i am using openGL
application (tested with googleearth, torcs and tuxracer). application is okay
until the moment i switch to another application (alt-tab). when i switch back
i see defects (squares, shadows, uneven colours). google video at
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8071560872049452023 pretty much
illustrates the problem.
interestingly i cannot see any problems in gnome so i consider this to be a kde
problem. using kdemod-legacy, Radeon RV250 [Mobility FireGL 9000] 32 M, radeon
driver.
tested using two arch linux repositories:
- kdemod3-legacy
- http://csclub.uwaterloo.ca/~jkschmid/arch/kde3/i686
a few more examples illustrating the problem:
