It can be a problem but if I remember correctly the default path for kde
becomes /usr or /usr/local, but it depends on were all your KDE program stuff
are stored on Suse.

Maybe(most probably), if your KDE dirs is not in one of the previously said.
(On my box it's /opt/kde )
