Hi,
Are you sure that you really have this:
> gcc is 3.2.3
Because first it was not released as a stable version AFAIK, and if you really 
use this why the header used are comming from an older version showed by:
> /usr/include/c++/3.2/streambuf: At top level:
And also AFAIK the 3.2 header are not "stable" and have ABI changes.

So my solution is:
Change your gcc version, and check that your gcc use the corrects header 
definition.
