It's a known problem and been fixed in the CVS version now KDE 3.2.1.

That's quite worrying, have you tried any other KDE CVS modules?

It would be nice to update this and allow importing of other
languages.

When I have time I'll try and release the Umbrello 1.2.1 source for
KDE 3.1 but I don't know when I'll be able to.
