Summary: create object in sequence diagram

Initial Comment:
so far as i can tell, it is not possible to show the
creation of an object in a sequence diagram.  this is
part of the UML standard, and is shown as a message
arrow terminating at an object box, and the created
object's timeline ending with the return message.
this is a common ommision from UML diagrammers. 
remarkably, even rational rose (the last time i had it)
does not support this feature.
