I am working on it, but havent had much time..
anyways, this weekend things seem calm around here so hopefully I'll get it 
done by next week.

The problem is that there has been sooooo many changes not only in the file 
format, but also in the internals of uml that it was as direct as I thought.
Just before the swtich to XML the file version was 5, and with uml 1.0.3 the 
version was 4... the problem is that from 1 to 4 the changes were not big 
because the basic structure of the program (internal) was the same, but then 
there were big changes that broke everything.

I am about to get a filter from 1-4 to 5 working, and then hopefully the code 
for loading the files in the current program will work.
(it didnt work with the files from jonathan because they are version 4 and the 
current code only reads version 5)
