I do speak french, but I learned UML from English documentation. But I 
think that having an interface in localized language makes sense, not 
only for UML, but for consistency with the whole KDE (which can be set 
to display french:-).

After very little research on this, I figured out that we need to have 
po files (which contain all the localized strings). An initial po file 
should be extracted from thr strings in the source (the i18n), then 
QtLinguist can be used for translations proper.

On kde.org, there must be some doc about how to get these files 
installed, and propably there is already kdevelop support.
