man, trying to figure out how to use those mystical reflective interfaces to 
build a completely generic load protocal is a real mind fuck - especially 
when you're trying to figure out the recursive properties of the MOF 
specification. is a package a package or an object? do i have these 
interfaces available when i'm parsing? how the hell do i create a package? 
etc. etc.

so, i've sat down and beat my head against my desk for the last 6 hours and 
managed 3 pages on something that should work. i've also uncovered the fact 
that its impossible to fully auto-generate a specification. not with fully 
functional reflective interfaces anyway. you have to specialize some of those 
methods.
