I don't know Visio, but those diagram drawing packages like Dia for
Linux are usually not very bound to the type of entities they are
drawing. Usually they just proving the graphics and some inputs for
labels. Besides that they usually they do not provide any support for
entity properties that do not have any graphical representation.
Therefore they are a bit useless.

Keep in mind that some times UML diagrams loose their utility when the
number of entities to represent becomes too large to be drawn in a
simple picture and diagrams become too confusing to be useful.
