I did change around the image caching recently, partly to allow better
"lazy-loading" for images on a network server. I'll pull up my test file
and see if I can re-create your issue.
Tellico 4.2 increased the image cache size to 512 MiB. You can bump it
further to see if that helps.

I'm not at my machine to fully confirm, but you can edit the config file by
hand or use the command-line tool
kwriteconfig6 --group "General Options" --key "Image Cache Size" 1024000000
