It works very well, I've just checked on a small  book collection 
created for
this test. I ran Export to GCstar and recorded it on Nextcloud. Then I
launched GCStar viewer and it found the file by itself. Everythinhg was 
fine.

IMHO we only need a simple viewer, it would be easier to maintain (the 
old
GCstar viewer still works very well). It would be nice to have a common 
and
simple viewer for the free software collection managers : Alexandria, 
Data
Crow, GCstar, Tellico...
May be you could take over the maintainership of the GCstar viewer? It 
is
curently unmaintained. And may be the Data Crow author could help on 
this
subject (Data Crow is written in Java).
