Recording anthologies of stories

Hi Robby -
Thanks! I suspected this would be the case. I think a comprehensive
solution requires a relational database. XML is just not up to the
task. That, in turn, makes the front-end application far more complex.
I also have an extensive music collection, nearly 5000 albums. Two
similar problems exist in that. First, if any one album is given more
than one disk, then EVERY album has more than one disk. I have at least
one album (a collection of Bach organ pieces) which has 18 disks.
Second, I would like to be able to get a list of songs. It would be
interesting to know, for example, which artists have recorded "Comes Love".
Also in a music collection, there are anthologies of music which have
the same issues as anthologies of books.
Back in the day, like 20 years ago, I used a program called CATraxx32 to
manage my music collection. It is incredible what that program could do
back then. Unfortunately it is Windows-only. The back-end database
back then was Access. I don't know what they use now. CATraxx32 was
one of the losers when I moved to Linux.
