import audio file metadata

I won't claim to know all of the answers, but it is going to depend a
great deal on the source of the mp3 files that you are importing. I've
only recently started using this feature and I've used it almost
exclusively for importing rips of audio CDs. As a Kubuntu user, I most
often use K3b for ripping CDs, although I sometimes use SoundKonverter,
and I sometimes use Kid3 to edit the metadata if I made a mistake while
ripping the CD. The tags that are most commonly populated by K3b are
Title, Artist, Album, Date, Track Number, and sometimes Comment and/or
Genre. All tracks with matching Album tags will go into the same album.

In your case, the Comment tags for each track contained the string of
numbers that you see in the comments section. You can delete them in
Tellico after completing the import if you don't want them there, or you
can use a tag editor to remove them from the mp3 files before importing
the files to prevent them from appearing in Tellico in the first place.
