Debug Assertion error while adding cover art to a MP4 file

Hi there,

today I have set up another VM with Visual Studio 2013 Express for Windows
Desktop. It turns out that my application and TagLib work perfectly.
I am pretty sure that my old installation with Visual Studio 2012 Express
for Windows Desktop was broken and that this circumstance caused various
different errors.
Thanks for your help everyone!

Cheers,
Thomas

Hi Kageyu,

thanks for your suggestion. I have also found threads dealing with the Debug
Assertion error, where changing the runtime library parameter solved the
problem. In my case this wasn't working.
Switching the IDE is still my recommendation.

Cheers,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

Just a guess, it sounds like it has something to do with the runtime library
settings (/MT, /MD, /MTd, /MDd). If you are using TagLib DLL, the setting of
your EXE should match the DLL.

Cheers,
Kageyu
