Yep, it basically maneges and integrates the appimage with the expected
desktop behavior.
It makes checksum, changes permission to executable, moves it to an
appimage dedicated directory, adds it to the app menu and auto detects the
correct icon to add into the taskbar. Therefore, every secondary window is
added in the same icon in the taskbar with a number indicator, at least on
Cinnamon (desktop environment) but my guess is that it works at least on
Gnome and KDE. I know it all can be done manually using different GUIs, but
I still find this useful when dealing with "installation" of Appimages.
Thank you for all your work, it is a nice plug-in (especially when testing
new versions). I'll make that distinction, "stable" vs. "development".
