what does the flatpak package actually do here? add an icon to the task bar?

other than that, the instructions seem to rely on the AppImage as well. Nice 
to see my updater plugin was discovered, though :D but i think i needs to add 
it another selection option "stable" vs. "development", because currently it 
only autodetects the latest daily build. that might be surprising to most 
users, so i probably wouldn't recommend that to the general audience at the 
moment.
