I think I have probably found and fixed this one, just now. Please test.

Does smell a bit like a race condition, but also potentially just a
symptom of the above? I.e. crash while closing the script editor
windows, while exiting? At any rate, this is a kind of problem that is
tough to debug... Please do keep nagging me about it, if you do
continue seeing it, though.
