Yes, I think it is important to have a non-code way, but the current one is 
indeed a bit cumbersome.However, I use RKWard mainly for its GUI and I rarely 
need to manually load packages.

sounds good to me. RStudio has a similar interface for this, we could have a 
look there and compare our ideas.
