this looks like the R backend is crashing. This could be a problem with
RKWard or it could be a crash in R / one of the packages involved. A
useful first approach to narrow the problem is to try running the same
thing in a plain R terminal session. If needed, you can refer to
RKWard's "Command Log"-Window and copy and paste all the steps
involved.

If you get crahes, there, you'll have to debug your R packages.
Typically, gctorture() helps a lot. If you cannot reproduce the crash
outside RKWard, please do get back to us, so we can track down and fix
the issue in our code.
