Another thing that is _really_ easy to do is to show a tree indicator
from row to editor:
+ x Some row inactive
+ x Some row active

(I'm no good at ASCII-art, but you get the idea - I hope). I had tried
that, but wasn't convinced. But of course perhaps in combination with
something else...
