then, if you installed the bundled package which comes with R 2.13, i guess 
there could be a conflict between those two R installations.

the linux binaries of RKWard don't work with R 2.14 if they were compiled 
against 2.13, so i'd expect it's the same on windows.

@thomas: is that a sound assumption?
