I tried to load several packages which have rJava as a dependency. About
half of them ended in an error. I got a caught segfault with invalid
permissions.
These packages failed loading:
library('cshapes') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('Deducer') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('JGR') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('RFreak') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('RNCBI') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('RNCBIAxis2Libs') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('RNCBIEUtilsLibs') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('colbycol') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('dismo') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('gWidgetsrJava') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('helloJavaWorld') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('iplots') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('rcdk') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('rcdklibs') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('spcosa') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('venneuler') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('xlsx') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('xlsxjars') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('gaggle') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('CADStat') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('RImageJ') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('RLadyBug') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('arulesNBMiner') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('farmR') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('gMCP') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('mutossGUI') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions
library('scagnostics') #fail caught segfault invalid permissions

These packages worked:
library('RJDBC')
library('aCGH.Spline')
library('ant')
library('dynGraph')
library('rJython')

I also had some problems loading the gWidgetsRGtk2 package and packages
which required that one.
list of packages that failed:
library('formatR') #fail CTD
library('FAiR') #fail R engine crashes/stops
library('QTLNetworkR') #fail CTD
library('RGtk2Extras') #fail R engine crashes/stops
library('fit4NM') #fail CTD + crash report
library('iBUGS') #fail CTD + crash report
library('playwith') #fail R engine crashes/stops
library('BioIDMapper') #fail CTD + crash report

Only package that loaded with gWidgetsRGtk2:
library('PKmodelFinder')

I'm using ubuntu lucid with the sun java library: sun-java-jre version
6.22-0ubuntu1~10.04 and as gtk2 engine libgtk2.0-0 version 2.20.1-0ubuntu2

I hope this will help you.
I really like your product
