As far as I can see, we can't alter the css, no. You can place <div 
style="clear:both"></div> directly into the page, though, as I've just found 
out (thanks to your hint).

I changed the table a bit to look - slightly - less weird.

Anyway, I think the screenshot page is good enough, now, to give a first 
impression of RKWard, so I've removed the "Needs Improvement"-tag (of course 
more nice screenshots are always good).

There is another page 
http://apps.sourceforge.net/mediawiki/rkward/index.php?title=List_Of_Menu_Items_and_Plugins 
which was meant to become a short reference off all plugins. This could later 
be augmented with plugin-screenshots. That page is currently in a rather 
desolate state, though.

What I'm more concerned with, at the moment, is what to do with the old 
homepage. Right now, pretty much everything just points to the wiki, and 
what's left of the homepage is the release announcements (and the well-hidden 
credits-page).

Any visions on what http://rkward.sf.net, i.e. the "main" landing page 
could/should look like in the future?
