[rkward-devel] Compiling rkward on ubuntu 8.04

there seems to be another problem with missing libraries (phonon, in the case 
above). do you have libphonon-dev installed? i don't see any libRlapack error 
here.

regarding libRlapack, this mail by might be a good point to start, if you're 
still running into trouble:

[my guess is, if your make run didn't succeed, you're still running your 
previously installed version of rkward]
