I think this is a good decision. Many people will recognize it and the tool
tip will reveal what it exactly does.

Definitely not. I can see a logic behind the symbols. The first triangle (Run
current line) is limited by a column therefore it seem to stop somewhere. And
indeed it just runs a single line. But I would switch the next two. "Run all"
has two triangles which would suggest "run from on to another" (but that
isn't the case) and "Run selection" has only one triangle which would
suggest me that all is run with no stop. I guess you get what I mean. Usually
I try to give symbols a meaning that's maybe why I bother you with such
stupid things. ;) (Though that's something quite simple many people seem to
care about. For Example there was an attempt for KWord to give each function
a similarity to MS Word. Odd but true.).

I allways wanted to. But I think this is getting to much for me. We will need
more help for example from KDE artists (I'll write them an E-Mail for
suggestions). Not to much is needed here since it's still a scientific tool
which doesn't need eyecandy but it must be usefull. Anyway, we should follow
other apps and prefere svg instead of png where possible.
We need somebody who looks patiently through the stuff available from
kde-look.org, GNOME-Look.org, Xfce-Look.org and http://www.openclipart.org/ .
I will try to if I find time and a mood of diligence. More Ideas out there?

True. Consent.

Hey it's a GUI! ;)

The advantage of doing so is that functionality is obvious to the user. It's
likely that user rather "push the button" than go trough the menus or search
for short cuts.
Did I say Short cuts? Hey that's an important word! I'll try to add a "Short
Cuts" section to the RKWard help. There aren't to much right now but this
should be done.
