Hi Christophe,

ok. So the PHP backend dies before it even produces any output at all. I think
I have an idea, now. Could you do a
# sudo make install | grep "common.php"

1) Does that file actually get installed (I think so)?
2) Check Settings->Configure RKWard->PHP-Backend. Does the second option ("Directory,
where the PHP support files are located") match the directory the file was installed
to?
If not,
2a) Correct it, and try again. Does it work now?
2b) Is this your first install of RKWard on this machine, or could it be that
a previous install was interfering?

I hope this is what's going on (and I'll add a check for this condition).
