Nice, good job. Had a quick look. Fixes the seg-fault. I don't think arrow
button will be an issue. Would it be possible to add the "red" border for the
in-focus-but-detached windows? Got used to it very much :)

Well, what is Window > Close doing? It seems to be "(re-)attaching the window
if detached" and "hiding it if already attached". The contents of the window
doesn't seem to be lost. SO, I think we are pretty good on this.

OK, a few quirks here: the toggling (and focusing) feature of Alt+0/1/2/3/4
seems to be lost. Alt+0 (even from Windows > Activate > Document tab) doesn't
seem to work at all. Alt+1/2/3/4 pulls up the relevant window but repeating
the same key doesn't hide it!
In this context, when a window is closed using Window > Close (or Ctl+W), it
would nice to set the focus back to an appropriate place (the previous
window?) rather than being lost (to the "whole" rkward window, which is not
really useful).
