Yes, I can reproduce this. However I don't know how to fix this, yet. Probably 
we'll have to ditch KMDI and use our code for the tool windows. However, 
that's something that we would need to do for KDE4, anyway (which will not 
have the KMDI library).

In other words: I'm onto this, but it will take some time.
