I see, sorry. The R version in sid still does export the symbol needed to work 
around the stack checking problems in R 2.3.0. This was fixed in R in SVN 
revision 37824, while the version in sid is 37779. The package should compile 
fine with r-base 2.2.1-6 or earlier, and hopefully soon with 2.2.1.svn37824 
or greater. I have not added a dependency for this, as those R packages are 
preliminary pre-release packages, and will disappear soon.
