Hi all,

Just for the record, I had a discution with Philippe Grosjean of the
Sciviews project (http://www.sciviews.org/). They designed an R API
for GUIs. Some part of their API, at least, could be used in rkward
with great benefit.

They believe a maximum of code should be coded in R, so R GUIs could
be easily portable. This is not the RKWard approach. Nevertheless, I
feel some collaboration would be fruitful. It looks like they've done
some great work with Sciviews-R.
