Hi all!

Well, the new release I talked about in the last mail a few hours ago is out. 
As mentioned, the focus is on some long neglected GUI-aspects, such as you 
can now finally configure which types of commands are shown in the 
RInterface-watch window, you can clear that window and the output, etc. On 
the technical side, a convenience library of R-functions was added, which 
slightly reduces the amount of commands that need to be passed to the backend 
while updating the list of objects. I hope this library gets built and 
installed without problems on your systems, I only have one box to test, 
currently.
Oh, and the cool new logo shown in the startup-dialog was contributed by 
Daniele Medri. Again, thanks a lot, Daniele.
Well, as usual, I'd be happy, if you could try out the new release and provide
