Thanks for the detailed analysis.
It seems XMPP is the only thing that seems to work.
Given that kopete seems to also support XMPP I woud not be against removing
ktp for 23.08 given the big support for removing it.
Hoping that existing users of KTP can keep it installed without their
distributions forcing them to remove it.
If someone objects to the removal please make it clear before July 16th.
