To my knowledge, KMail is the only project/product that uses a Bugzilla
product name that is different from the repository name.
It is therefore the sole exception to that rule.
I'd suggest a mapping in the script as the best path forward here, yes -
unfortunately i'm not aware of any other examples/precedent of this being
done.
