I've gotten many crash reports about the extractor since the RC - I've taken
many steps to simplify the code and even added extra unit tests. This crash
should have gotten fixed, but I cannot say for sure. The only way to know if
for users to try it out and see.

The extractor crashing is not *that* bad. It's purposely run in a separate
process because it may crash (underlying library problems, buggy/corrupt file
system, etc). Also there is code to figure out why it is crashing and blacklist
that file.
