Dear KDE release team, I would appreciate if you could push the v4.10.5 tags to the KDE SC git repositories. Updating from tag to tag via git is much more convenient than doing so by re-downloading the entire sourcecode each time as it can be done in-place, local patches can be easily kept around - and the size of the download is much smaller.
