Revised Release Schedule

Next try (I'll start giving up on Friday night :P) ...

As Cornelius pointed out, some days were not Wednesdays. Fair enough,
everything has shifted slightly forward, also having shorter rc period (which
is what Allen suggested). That means more bugs should be fixed by the later
RCs, which is probably what we want.

Also, with this new schedule, platform and RC1 are on the same day. Also looks
like it makes perfect sense. Libs ready, bugs are now expected in the apps.

Ok, here goes:

KDE $PLATFORM Release
=================
The KDE $PLATFORM contains all the bits and pieces needed for
developing KDE4 applications. This includes kdesupport, kdelibs, kdepimlibs
and kdebase/runtime.

3 October: Total Release Freeze, only critical bugfixes to the SDK
24 October: Tagging (Wed)
30 October: Release (Tue)

KDE 4.0 Desktop Release
========================
The KDE 4.0 Desktop includes libraries, the workspace and basic applications
needed for a basic working environment, such as a text editor, a filemanager,
an email client, image and document viewers.

26 September (Wed): Tagging KDE 4.0 Beta 3
2 October (Tue): Release KDE 4.0 Beta 3

October 12 (Fri): Total Release Freeze, bugfixes only

24 October (Wed): Tagging KDE 4.0 RC1
30 October (Tue): Release RC1

14 November (Wed): Tagging RC2
20 November (Tue): Release RC2

5 December (Wed): Tagging RC-final
11 December (Tue): Release KDE 4.0 Desktop

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the
experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination
to do so. - Douglas Adams
