I'd prefer to not have a Kompare in KDE 4.0. It's too late. We should  
have been looking for maintainers or people willing to port apps a  
few months ago rather than right before the release.

If Kevin wants to take over maintenance, that's fine, but making  
Kompare ready for KDE 4.0 seems like a goal not reachable considering  
when the release is going to be.
