I like the animation but I would like it works better: it is not really an

I didn't test the patch that use oxygen style for the progress bar.
It is a good idea, but, is it confusing ?
Usually the user doesn't write text in a progress bar. This is why,  in my 
opinion, the gradient is less confusing.

Firefox 4 adds progress bars on tabs.
I am not sure it is a so good idea but it is an other way to remove the 
urlbar/progress bar/(status bar :D ?) confusion.
