FYI, I have committed the above patch into both trunk and 4.4 branch ; so
simply updating your local copy from subversion will suffice.
Also can you disable caching and see if the problem you described above no
longer happens ?
Shortcut to disable caching:

#1. ALT+F2
#2. Type cache and press enter.
#3. In "Cache" configuration dialog, uncheck "Use cache" and click Ok.
