QMLWeb Performance

I was wondering if the performance of QML Web is still considered slow?

I was thinking if someone could help me understand how to parse /evaluate QML, that I could also do a QML server that would compile, either partially or completely, the QML file before sending it to the browser. 

Is it worth it, and how can it be done?
