Hi, I can confirm this issue. Let me know if I can help debug it in any way.
Upon closer observation it seems to me that the screen is indeed turned off for
a moment when closing the lid (which is what is supposed to happen if the "on
lid closed" option is set to "turn off screen" - this one works) before coming
back on, so it is as though the "lock the screen" action is then waking it up
accidentally.
