  I don't think so. Again, IIRC, decoration render does the following:
  
  - create backing store
  - sets device pixel ratio
  - creates QPainter
  - passes the QPainter instance to decoration (->paint(&p, ...))
  
  So, that's maybe an issue in Qt or KWin.
