  It looks like the freedesktop spec <https://specifications.freedesktop.org/icon-theme-spec/icon-theme-spec-0.13.html#file_formats> has `Scale` listed only as an integer. So that would need updating first in my opinion. So 4x would be possible, but decimal scaling would need to be snapped for now.
