That's not very nice of you...

I know - from experience - that samba is a real pain to setup. Yes. But you can
hardly blame Dolphin or the KIO side for that. You need to set the right
permissions and have a properly configured system. In general, if you have
that, it works just fine. If it doesn't then your config is messed up.

Just having samba installed isn't enough. You need to have it enabled as well.

If you're not happy about the config options in dolphin for samba, use some
other graphical tool.

Closing this issue as it's just complaints. Not a bug report. If you have an
actual bug, feel free to report it. If you have a wish, feel free to report it
as well but only one per issue please.
