# changes
- refinement to packaging all over the place
- koko package fixed to correctly contain all runtime geomapping assets
- installer loads wallpaper again
- ISO boots in VMs again (tested with KVM and virtualbox)
- muon/qapt do not incorrectly raise an auth error after 30 seconds of
installation/upgrade
- KTP is now built with kpeople support
- the snapshot PPAs are being populated using new, better, faster tech
(not affecting 15.04 due to long standing bluez5 blockage, and also
not very much affecting 14.10 right now because one build or another
is always blocking the promotion by being broken)
- qml module dependencies have been made more robust and precise by a
partial rollout of automated dependency QA (to be expanded next week)

# errata
- due to build issues with KIO, the package is from wednesday rather
than friday morning (see CMP0028 mail on frameworks-devel, supposed
fix on gerrit)
- kdeconnect-plasma build is from last friday as it doesn't build
until confirmation of bug [1]
- KTP still not working; reasons still unknown; mck182 should be able
to look into this now that VMs work again
- various glitchery in the installer (wrong cursor, oxygen icons...)
- screenlocker appears to kick in way too early (~1 minute)
- when going from the installer to the live session sometimes the
installer's kwin doesn't terminate before the live session kwin wants
to start making one of the two crash (should be fixed in master now).
mgraesslin suggested that ksmserver should probably be changed to
start kwin with --replace to protect against this sort of thing in
general.

# long standing errata
- all issues affecting Kubuntu 15.04 also affect the ISO (which among
other things includes a slightly bugged out installer, best only
install using en_US)
- the ISO is rolled using the CI landing PPA due to stabilization
blockage from missing bluez5. this in turn means that upgrades
potentially won't work or break half way through as the underlying PPA
breaks ever so often.

# virtual machines
virtual machines have a bit of trouble with the graphics. At least
with virtualbox you can workaround the problem by temporarily
switching to a different TTY (right-ctrl+f6 -> right-ctrl+f7)
