The timer around line 160 is only responsible for setting the focus when the lockscreen is loaded for the first time. When the wrong password is entered, the grace lock timer runs, and after that clearPassword() gets called (line 55), which is responsible for getting the focus back. The problem in the current implementation is, that the clearPassword() signal gets already called when the failed signal is emitted (line 50), and the grace lock timer just gets started.
