sounds like a no-brainer to me. I know that we also have modeltest in KWin 
with an appropriate license.

Do you have push privileges? If yes just go ahead and replace the files 
yourself.

P.S. I promise to never (ok at least a month) again complain about the 
licensing check done by Debian.
