What may be needed is to take a breather and reflect on the stress
factors acting on everyone, both our own stress factors and the
situations others are in, and how they modify both our own behavior
and the behavior of others. Mutual empathy goes a long way, and is
the key both to doing better by others and not holding grudges alike.

Not sure about you folks but personally I friggin' hate stress, so I
think it'd be immensely helpful if we could refrain from putting more
onto each other's shoulders for a while. That's not to say we shouldn't
be talking, but rather a plead to modulate it in a way that's informed
by the fact that people are hurting and tense and don't need more of
it. This goes for me as well of course, and I apologize (and have done
so privately before) to those who's stress load I may have bumped up a
notch lately. Be assured it did nothing to lessen my own stress level
either.

In the end we're still possessed with compatible goals and a great
pool of experience and ability to put toward implementing them, and
I'm hopeful we'll be able to keep our efforts focused on ways to do
so.

Cheers,
Eike
